Knee injury

I injured my kneeat work , grade 1 injury at medial collateral , partial tear at anterior cruciate ligament and a complex tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus.
this was discovered my an mri , they put me thru three sessions of phsical therapy
including tendon streching extersizes, is this proper? and sent me back to work
with a knee brace (im a mechanic ) phsical job

is this proper procedure?

The therapy was stopped after the mri discovered the injury

I presume you are being seen by an Orthopedic Surgeon? If not, you SHOULD. Sounds like you may have a surgical procedure in your future, but the decision to employ "Conservative " (non-surgical) therapy should be made by the Orthopedic Surgeon.

If you are still experiencing pain and limited range of motion, you should be reevaluated by an orthopedic doctor.

Im getting surgery in a month , but shouldnt they have checked the MRI before doing
physical therapy , bue to the torn ligaments ?
