No, not until your symptoms begin to subside, then go back slowly to your normal routine. Rest is the best medicine now. While exercising a healthy body is a big boost to your immune system, excercise while ill can actually weaken your immune system. Your body needs all of it's energy now to fight the virus/bacteria cause the illness.

Most trainers and doctors will tell you that is you have "above the neck" signs such as a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat moderate exercise is generally ok and you can resume normal intensity when they subside.

If you have "below the neck" signs like tiredness, muscle aches vomiting, diarrhea a hacking chest cough give yourself about 2 weeks before going back to regular training.

You never exercise if you have a fever because that means your body is fighting a virus and your body can't repair your muscles and attack the virus at the same time.

Hope you feel better.

For me, it has always helped. Because getting up and moving helps move the lymph and starts the lymph nodes working. Which can help flush all the junk out of your body. You just need to do it when it is warm out side or inside at a gym, but I think it can help.
