Hello gibbsthomas.....This could be any array of disorders of the skin...It could be a contact dermatitis or it could be related to insect bites....Without benefit of being able to visualize these, I can only advise you that if these spread, or do not go away on their own, you should have this evaluated by your physician....With this being only on the chest area, I would clean the area thoroughly and apply Hydrocortizone Cream to see if this helps...Bedbugs can be seen..Look along the seams of your mattress with a light and you will be able to see these if they are present...However, I think that you would have more area's of involvement if this was indeed bedbugs....Aside from this, I can only state again, to have this checked by your physician if it does not resolve...Please, keep us posted and post again if you have further questions or concerns..Good Luck to you and God Bless.
