Growths on eyelid with things hanging down

A friend of mine says that she has a groth on her eyelid that she thought was stye, but it has things hanging down that look like blood vessels. What is this? What kind of a doctor soes sshe need to go to.

She needs to see an Opthamologist, it could be a chalazion which is a lump in the eyelid that is caused by inflammation of a gland or an acrochordon, which is basically a skin tag. Either way it can be removed. On rare occasions people can develop a tumor on their eyelid, and these vary in shape, size, location and color. Good luck to her, and keep me posted. Susu
