How do i take myself off of zoloft?

I have been taking zoloft for five years and i am no longer suffering from panic attacks but from pre menopause. I was wondering how i could stop taking zoloft since i feel i no longer need to use it.

OK i would not advise this . but if you do this you need to step down off this med and that means if you are taking say 40 M/G then you step down to 30 M/G for 2 weeks then down to 20 M/G for 2 weeks , then down to 20 for 2 weeks then down to 10 for one week then your off!
