I have a new baby 3 wks old. Is it natural for a baby to

Twitch, awake or asleep her hands and arms move with little jerky movements almost constantly. Should I be worried?

I think for your good and the baby id have this checked , there should be some Twitching at times and its maybe a stomach upset , or some thing like that but id still have this checked out , and this is not normal for a baby to do this all the time, it could be just a little thing, so go back to the baby doctor!

As long as the twitching can be comforted with cuddling, you should not have anything to worry about. Your baby is just adjusting to her new world. If you are too concerned you should contact your pediatrician.
Good luck and congrats!

Thank you. She was given a clean bill of health at the hospital but we were only there for 24 hrs. Our first visit to the ob is not for a few weeks and I guess I just wanted some reassurance.

Some times the baby does this because she is getting use to her movement independently..wrapping her while she is sleep could help..while she is sleeping..but i think it is her getting use to moving by herself..but get her checked anyway

If you feel worried, take the baby to the doctor. Trust your mommy instinct.
