Yes that's what causes GAD, and you must try to get away from what is stressing you and find out why you are anxious some times panic attacks are the cause and this has to be helped by meds, and the mind is like this , if you taste a lemon its bitter and if you think bad thoughts its bitter and the mind reacts, and some times you have to get away from the bad thoughts and the stress , and do diff things and get away for a while , and take up new interests , to get your mind off of things that bother you, hope this helps you understand , !
