Any hospital is forced to treat you in their emergency room, only. That is federal law. They will be happy to send you a bill too. There are free clinics in most large cities, often run by charitable organizations. If you qualify for medical assistance, there is no cost to you.

All ER have to treat you, regardless if you can pay if you really need it. so if you really do have a medical emergency, you can go there to get treated

If you need medical help they have to treat you regaurdless if you can pay. After they treat you ask for a charity app they all have them. They look at your debt to income and see if you can pay if you can't they write it off!
