I need help with my ingrown toe nail

I have an ingrown toe nail that hurts when I apply pressure specifically on the toe. I clipped it down some and it hurts significantly less, but half way down my toe it's black and it bends in, when I press on this spot it is extremly painful. What can i do?

Find a podiatrist. It's very hard to get to the ingrown nails on yourself, especially if they are infected and painful.

The doctors will take a look and decide what the best route of treatment is. I just found this out.....but if an ingrown nail remains infected for too long, the bone could become infected. They usually x-ray your foot to be sure there isnt any bone damage as well.

Hope this helps!

You want to try and clip your nail so that it is even and level straight across. use some rubbin alcohol or some hydrogen peroxide to keep it from getting infected.
