I took one dose of Prozac 20 mg the effects were awful won't take again how long will I feel the effects and is it okay to take xanax

It may be to high a dose.

since they are both scripts.......call doctor office and let them know what are the side effects are and if you can be placed on a smaller dose..........also ask how long you need to be on it to see if it is working for you.

they as in most of them may take up to six weeks.

These are two totally different classification of drugs..One being an antidepressent, the other being a anti-anxiety drug...One dose of Prozac would not harm you. There are some patients that do not tolerate this drug.
