I was told that my AST level is 665 which is high and my ALT level is 69 and I have some blood in the urinalysis is this treatable?

My blood pressure was elevated yesterday 160/120 and pulse rate 118, was seen by a Nurse Practioner and she ordered some lab work that I had drawn today to rule out anything and my liver enzymes are elevated ALT level 129/AST level 665 so she scheduled a follow up with a Medical Doctor for further treatment options/ she also started me on Diovan for Blood pressure maintainance and my blood pressure is now controlled 130/80. She mentioned possibly Hepatitis or fatty liver, what do you all think?

Hi,
You have the classic symptoms of IgA Nephropathy!
If left untreated, it will lead to renal failure.
Check it is not a kidney stone, then get your blood urea nitrogen and urine checked. If protein is abnormally high in the urine, you have proteinurea which is because of the nephropathy.

see your doc immediately with focus on these issues.

Jayen
