This sounds like a rash. Try keeping your arm pits as dry as possible. A good way to do this is by putting baby powder under your arms.

Hello kbky11....The axilla(area known as armpit) is a warm, moist area that is vunerable to pathogenic bacteria, yeast and fungi....A condition known as infertrigo that can be a culprit..Try taking tepid showers instead of extremely warm, wash the area with a mild , low Ph soap(be sure to pat dry the soap film), wear light weight clothing...You may try to apply an Oatmeal Cream to this area, however, one must be sure that you are not blocking the skin pores...Gold Bond Medicated powder dusted lightly under the armpit can sometimes be beneficial...You can use a topical cortizone to the area for a short period of time...Do not use this long term..If this condition persist, I would suggest that you let your physician order you and Antipyretic to ease the discomfort....Avoid the over-use of under arm deoderants...Antipersperants are fine if used lightly...I hope this was abit helpful..Please, keep us posted..Good Luck to you and God Bless....If you would like to learn more about these types of problems , go to this web site, <www.aad.org>.....
