Intense itching

I have had intense itching since Sept of 2007. I was working and something in the room made my skin very itchy. This has gotten so bad that I have been off of work for a year now. I have had all sorts of tests. My skin has a sheen all over the skin. After taking a bath small particles of crust come to the surface on my back, legs, head, My symptoms have been fatigue, abdominal pain, muscle weakness, throat tightens, all blood work shows normal , I have had brain mri, nerve mri,nothing shows up in any test. Blood work was taken tyroid test high than another test showed it was okay. Nobody seems to have a solution.
