Is there a heating pad I can place behind my lower back and lean against while I am sitting in a chair?

Electric heating pad is wonderful for my spinal stenosis, but instructions say not to sit against the pad.

The reason is that they don't want you to burn yourself, or worse fall asleep and not know you are burning yourself. perhaps if you put it on the low setting and made sure that you were well awake

The heating pad gets soft when it heats up, and I'm following the manufacturer's instructions since this might lead to a short. So I'm not using it - but in the meantime I'm left wanting something to soothe my aching back.
