Latex allergy from condom

I had for the first time in a few months with a new partner. We used a condom. However, about 36hrs after intercourse my vagina became swollen and what looks like hives broke out around the outside of my vagina. I thought that it was a delayed latex allergy but it has lasted 5days. I have not had any fever, discharge, or problems urinating. However, it is very uncomfortable. I started taking antihistamines 2 days ago (benadryl) to see if it would clear it up but it hasnt worked.

You may want to consider checking out the possibility of a herpes outbreak.. I am not certain that the latex would give you such type of reaction..

If the reaction you had was indeed an allergic one, the Benadryl would have worked. Get yourself to a doctor to find out exactly what the problem is.
