Lower abdomen

Im a male. 25 yrs old. I have been experiencing pain in my lower left side of my abs, down by my waist basically. not stomach cramps per say, but it feels like muscle pains. essentially when i am laying down and go to sit up, I feel it in my lower left side, as if it were a pulled muscle. its not excruciating pain or anything, but prevents me from playing sports properly. it also hurts when I cough, sneeze etc. I had a hernia on my right side about 6 years ago, and the pain reminds me of the pain after the surgery. I dont know if its a hernia, there is no bulge .....

Now the funny thing is, the pain will go away for a few days, then I will go to sleep and it suddenly comes back for MOST of the day, but then will go away yet again, might not come back for another few days, but it comes back when I wake up. But like I said, its not consistant, I will go days, even a close to a week before it might happen. This has been happening for about 16 days now.

Thoughts.

This could be your appendix, however it does sound more like a hernia. I would see your doctor as soon as possible, as any abdomen pain is not normal.
