I might suggest going to see a spine specialist that will send you to get x-rays of your hip in different positions. I have had this same problem for two years, and it took over a year to get a diagnosis, . I had to request to see a different doctor due to the original doctor not being able to diagnose the problem. The diagnosis is arthritis in the sciatic joint. This is not detected in MRI's or Bone Scans. Good luck!
