Lower side pain

I have had a sharp pain in my lower abdomen on the left side. It is not tender to the touch but has stayed constant since 6AM. It was accompanied by nausea this morning and has since left, should I see a doctor today?

If you have pain on your lower left when you press or even without pressing, it is a symptom of Abdominal Pain. NEVER ignore this.

Common causes of lower left abdominal pain include diverticulitis, irritable bowel syndrome, left kidney stone, left kidney infection, crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, left ectopic pregnancy, left ovarian disease, and infection of the left fallopian tubes in women.

I suggest you visit a doctor immediately.

I hope this helps!

Good luck and be healthy soon!

This could be anything from irritable bowel syndrome to pregnancy. The only way for you to know for sure is to get checked out by your physician immediately. You can buy a pregnancy test at any number of places if you want to go ahead and check for that, but any other condition will have to be determined by your doctor. An actual examination by a certified doctor is going to be your best bet in getting an accurate diagnosis for your condition. Your doctor's professional opinion is going to be much better than the random guesses of people online that can't see you to give you an actual examination. If you lack insurance, then you should go to your nearest clinic and have them check you out. I know doctor bills are extremely expensive if you have insurance, but a clinic will adjust your bills based on how much money you are making so that the doctor bills don't cause you to go into bankruptcy due to their exuberant amounts.
