Will ingesting comet cleanser harm you? ingesting comet cleanser can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. it can also cause irritation to your mouth and throat. give diluted milk and call poison control.

It certainly won't help you out.

Comet Cleanser is a CAUSTIC AGENT, referred to as a STRONG BASE in Chemistry. Even worse than an ACID BURN, it can burn the Mouth, Esophagus and Stomach. And if the powdered form is swallowed, you can be sure a few particles were inhaled and can damage the Trachea (windpipe).

Never encourage vomiting-give Milk and go to the nearest Emergency Room. Severe scarring of the esophagus with narrowing can occur with a lifetime of consequences and medical problems...

Yes it can harm you, I am wondering why you would eat comet cleanser? I have a pretty good idea why you would, and my question is....is it worth it?

Yes it is very harmful. I know someone who only got some in there mouth, didnt swallow. The comet ate the enamle off of there teeth which caused them to have to be removed and replaced. And thats only the beginning if not swallowed.
