Meth

I am on probation for methanphedimines and I have been clean now for 3 years.. I recently hurt my back and I took one of my daughters flexeril pills adn I tested possitive for meth not amphedimine just meth how is that possibile.. I am on alot of medications threw my doctor but could they all have counteracted with the flexeril and would they be able to tests and find out what made the test possitive..

It is very possible that your drug result was a false positive to methamphetamine

here are some examples of some false positives to methamphetamines

And if you compare the structures of Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine) with Crystal Meth you will see that one has a N-dimethyl chain on it, and the other has a N-methyl chain, which is close in structure, and if there is a false positive, it could be the cause of it.

I would just make sure you stop taking those Flexeril pills and ask to be retested in a day.
