My Friend is trying to stop smoking Pot and i want to help

Don't know if smoking basil will fool your friend, probably just make them pissed at you. Too bad though, I had some pot head friends and they wasted their lives doing nothing.

Why would you want to stop smoking pot? er.. I mean, why would your friend want to stop smoking pot?

Pot will be legal in a few years and less people die from pot-related incidents that alchohol. If it bothers you the best thing to do is say you still like your friend, but you don't want to be around them when they are smoking pot. Be consistant - friends are like puppies. If he values your friendship, he'll stop.

Take your basil and make a nice pasta sauce :)

Basil is in the mint family, the other is not, one smells like skunk, the other definetly does not, not to mention they look very very differnt both fresh and dried, I would think your friend would know, and I would not recommend smoking either.

You cannot deceive a real pot head into thinking that basil is weed. It might happen for a few days if you are lucky. However in reality the truth is not far behind. It alters the mind and the effects are obvious. So basil will not do any of that. Your friend is going to yell.//" someone selled me bad stuff!".
You might want them to stop and maybe they do not. Sometimes it is a way of life. The pothead has to want to stop before they can. Most likely they are going to need to get a new job, a new place to stay and "Straighten up their life". Until they want to themselves....there is no real way to make them stop. Rehab might help? You need to talk to your friend straight up about this.
I stopped a long time ago....when the final bag i had...was laced, and I found myself talkiing with GOD>. I realized how crazy my mind was becoming and how deep it can go to alter the mind.
