My son has a temp of 102.9. What can i do to bring it down. Should i take him to the hosiptal

My son has a temp of 102.9. He had 2 500 mg. Tylenol at 6:30. Can i give him more? I have sponged him down and the temp is not going down. What should i do.

Please take him to the hospital if the fever hasn't gone down after taking the meds and you have sponged him down then he needs to be seen to make he doesn't need antibiotics and they can watch him and do there best to get the fever down, if it gets to high it can cause him to have a seizer. please take him

If this is an infant and the fever has been persisting, you may want to take him to the hospital. If you have a pediatrician I would call them and speak with the on-call Dr. You can also call Ask a Nurse to see what they say.
