Natural Remedy Website

I'm looking for a website with natural (home) remedy's that actually work. There are so many out there and I don't have time to try them all to figure out what works. - I'm mostly looking for a natural deoderant for my 9 year old. He takes daily baths, but still has bad BO and I don't want to start him on deoderant unless I have to. I'm planning on going to the health food store this afternoon, but would like to have some stuff in mind before I go. Suggestions?

I'm not sure about websites, but I have seen some pretty great books in book stores and places like Whole Foods about it. I'll have to look up what book I recently picked up from whole foods is called when I get home tonight.

I was going to go to the library, but I'm not welcome there anymore so I tried looking online, but most places want me to buy their product. I just want to stop the smell asap. lol.

I s your son perspiring a lot.

All I can say is if body odor is a problem I would try an antiperspirant. Deodorants just mask the odor. Antiperspitants reduce the amount of perspiration.

Sage is an all-natural antiperspirant. If you make a tincture our of it and apply that it's suppose to work (I got a book when I was pregnant about making tinctures).

I've also heard from a friend that they use tee tree oil (I have a lot of hippie friends :)

Parsley tablets taken oraly twice daily are not only good for him, but will nip this in the bud by helping to balance his ph. A good site I refer to often is The Natural Remedies Encyclopedia, and you know me and natural health ;)

Look under gastro intestinal, as this type of problem is usally caused by poor digestion.

I will have to get him some. That is a cool site. I ended up getting him deoderant anyway (he wanted it). I think he's starting puberty. He grew 2 inches since October, smells bad, and a few days ago he was watching TV and I heard him say "wow, that chick is hot"... It begins... I'm just glad I got a boy and not a girl.... hahaha

If you want to get deodorant, be sure to buy the Tom's brand that is on sale at health stores, and what not. It is aluminum free, so it is not harmful like more deodorants are
