I am not trying to be mean here, so please don't take it that way, but as a Doctor, it concerns me a great deal that this has been going on for 6 months now and you are asking this question here. This could be as simple as an allergy, and as dangerous as a stroke. Get thee hence to the doctor!!

I agree with the doctor. Those are classic symptoms of a stroke or series of strokes (some can be mild and not as drastic as in movies). It can be a myriad of things simple or major. I am leaning toward allergies though; it sounds like some sort of nerve blockage/damage that could have been caused by a cold - allergies - sinus infection. Also, if it was 1 stroke, the symptoms would usually be localized to one half of your face/body and not selectively cross over.

This sounds like bells palsy (facial paralisys) I have had it twice and you need to go to the doctor because the earlier it is treated then the better the recovery. The first time i woke up unable to open my eye or move my face . It looked as if I had a stroke. It took a few months but I fully recovered the second time took longer to recover and my face is harder to move and my eye and ear lost some function. I have felt it comming on many other times and go get a shot that for me prevents it form fully happening.

You could have Bell's Palsey. It sometimes affects people under a lot of stress, and then sometimes it can affect people that tend to be nervous or anxious by nature. You could have had a mini-stroke, which is possible if you take diet pills or caffeine pills that make the heart race, or if you have a family history of stroke or if you have high blood pressure that has gone undiagnosed. I would definitely see a doctor, you're too young to just let this ride. Best wishes!
