I had the same thing, matter of fact today is my first day home from the hospital. i had pelvic inflammatory disease. it is serious especially if it has gone on for more than a few days, mine was on my right side also like yours. but it could also be your apendis or your pancres.

Pain in right side
Pain starts on right side just under rib an a bit lower. pain becomes more severe after a couple of days where as it radiates over my stomach in excruciating stomach ache. I cannot walk,sit an end up in a ball on my bed with terrible stomach ache.......last until next day but is still sore. I can here gas noises in stomach...i already had gall bladder removed several years ago. Sometimes pepto bismo will help a bit. i have these attacks for the past 3 or 4 years .....always same symptoms including nausea,pain an spasman in back. Average once a month.

Oh my Goodness...You should seek medical attention on this one....You could have Adhesions that have developed from previous Surgeries or you could have any array of problems....This is not something that you want to make an assumptive diagnosis with.....Get yourself to the Doctor and let him assist you with this...Good Luck to you and God Bless..Keep us posted...
