OK the cons i think this is a very over used surgery and its just a stop to some thing thats not the really needed all the time . and its to easy for the doctor to say ok we will just take it out and you can go on. instead of trying to find out other courses of treatment. and the pros . if this is needed for heavy bleeding . and real bad pain . and other things that make it hard on the woman to get out and work or enjoy there life . and is a constant then yes this could help her health. of course the joy of sex is not as much as before . and this makes a woman go into menopause right then. and the hot flashes and things like that is a burden also. and at 29 years old you are so young and full of life . and really dont need to think this way unless your health is at stake!

OK say the course of treatment is meds that will help the pain and the heavy bleeding and then you can get control of this and you maybe wont have to take the meds forever . had you thought about this. ? you have to give it a try and then go with what ,makes you fell better and helps the symptoms also you have to think about the course of wanting a baby say in the next 5 to 8 years. some women feel this tug of wanting a baby after they have this done to the body . and the mother instinct really comes on strong also. at times when you dont expect this. so at this age i say try the meds and see over the course of the treatment what this does first and then you can change you mind any time!

I agree with you. I have already tried the pill and it helped for about a month....
I think I will just deal with it and see what happens. I a m not ready to have anything removed that is not killing me.

Good idea . and really i think this is a good idea i know that its a bother but there will be other things to bother you also if you get the surgery down . and i really think this makes the body age prematurely ..

The pains of being a woman. Men will never understand :P I agree with what was said. Taking out your girlie parts will indeed affect your girlie behavior. 29 is too young for that. Have you exhasted all other options?

What other options? Medication, endometrial ablation and hysterectomy are the only ones I was given and I dont like any.
