Rash caused by insect bites

I have developed a rash from bites by knats while I was in the Florida Keys. I have been putting hydrocortisone cream on it but it still itiches. I have broken out on my arms, legs, and bald spot on head. Should I be taking any medicine to help counter this rash? This has been 4 days now.

I had a similar thing happen when I went to Jamaica a couple of years ago and had been bit by sandmites. If the topical cream and over the counter benedryl isn't working, you may just need to go to the doctor or quick care and they can give you a cortisone shot that usually will clear up anything like that. Mine cleared up in about 6 hours after I got the shot.
