Ruptured Brain Aneurysm

My aunt was admitted into a hospital earlier today for a ruptured brain aneurysm. Shortly after surgery, she entered a comatose state. The surgeon assistant told me over the phone that she is stable but her chances of survival is 5%. Should I get a neurologist to get further opinion on this issue? And how should I get a specialist to see her.

Yes. Talk to someone at the Nurses station and ask if she can see a Neurologist. Also, if she has a primary care physician, ask them to refer a Neurologist as soon as possible. For extreme cases such as this, it is useful to gain a second opinion. Good luck!
