Scratch like rash

Could this be really scratch marks instead of a rash , some times other children will do this to others and not even think about what they are doing, and then it could be from a cat , and if its deep red proble is , but you need to get him to a doctor and find out and protect him from the germs if cat or human scratch marks then if not the rash is nothing i know about!

This could simply be as it appears (a scratch).. Children sometimes scratch themselves and at two yrs old, would likely have NO recall of this...If this were from a Cat, the term would be Cat Scratch Fever...With this condition, number one, a cat would have to be involved..Secondly, generally with this particular problem, the area of the scratch would most likely become painful as the lymph gland around the are of the scratch would react and become sore...If this little one complains of pain or you notice the area any blister type area that developes, you would certainly want to get this checked out by your physician...I don't know how long this little one has had these scratches, hopefully this will resolve themselfs...I would make sure to wash this area with a mild antibacterial soap and keep an eye on it. I first noticed them on Saturday -- there are about 20-30 little scratch marks. I don't think he could have done them himself as he can't quite reach that spot. No cats in his life.

OK then he ,ight have got some thing off the pillow or any thying he laid on at the day care , and he could have the scabies , maybe not because they l;ook diff then this some times but any thing can fool us in the medical world and you really need to take him and get thisa checked out , and this may be a rash from some ting ruff he laid his neck on , ! ill show you a pic of scabies and see if this looks like this. and ill show you flea bits and see if this is it, !~

Thanks so much - the scabies picture didn't come through. The scratches are like little straight lines - does that sound like scabies?

OK scabies on there now go look! and they can be all kinds of ways also , and id not take a chance with this, because there will have to be some real good cleaning done every where the children are if this is it, and your home bless you will have to be cleaned really good every where and the beds and every thing will have to be Clorox's
