Yes this can happen and this will happen if they are getting ready to burst and leak somewhat. the fluid will have small amounts of HCG in it. and this can cause a reaction the same as being pregnant and cause a false positive!

But this is very rare. positive pregnancy test may suggest that your cyst is a corpus luteum cyst.
