Well I asked my doctor this very questions he said and I quote : Depending on how strong your birth conrol is it may take a while to completely be out of your system. I personally would turn to Plan B, it prevents pregnancy up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. Good luck
If you took the pill you missed within 24 hours and have been taking your birth control on schedule for the month you should be protected from pregnancy. You may experience a late period due to stress about possibly being pregnant or an imbalance of hormones in your body. If you do not menstruate within a week of the first day your period is due contact your doctor for a pregnancy test.
If i had started to take the pill for 1 week and 4 days and then missed it and then had taken it for a nother few days and then had unprotected sex and then later on that night took the pill could i be pregnant?
If i had started takin the pill for 1 week and 4 days and then had been taking it for a week and then missed a pill and then took one streight away the next day and then had unprotected sex a few days later and then had taken the pill later on that night could i be pregnant?
Yes, you could be pregnant. Anytime you have unprotected sex, you are at risk for getting pregnant. Even the birth control pill itself is not 100% effective.
You can take a home pregnancy test to determine if you are indeed pregnant but you will have to wait until your first missed period. If you get your period as normal, you are likely not pregnant.
You asked this question fifteen days ago. By now you should have taken a pregancy test. If not, get one of the newer ones that can basically tell you if you're pregnant before you even have sex (that was a joke). Anyway, even if you have you're period, it is still possible to be pregnant. I had several periods after I became pregnant and my doctor said that it was quite common. Do get a prenancy test if you haven't yet; read the labels for the time period that it can detect.
