OK dont know without more info but it Sounds like a lipoma which is a fatty cyst and should be checked by a doctor ,
I guess I should add that I do have various lumps and bumps and was actually diagnosed with multiple lipomas about 25 yrs. ago. I have a small lipoma under my arm and have had them other places and they also were painful at times. This one in my front thigh area is very small and doesn't hurt very often now...both my thighs and legs hurt sometimes from walking a lot. Could this have anything to do with the walking? Do you think I should worry about cancer?
NO not in this case but you still need to have this checked out every time you find some thing like this because of the signs of cancer is not really good and they will fool you also, and when you dont have them checked is when it will affect you, and you being more tired and hurting more , can be another reason to be checked out, and let the doctor know all the places and other things going on and you might need some tests to check some things that may give a better idea what going on ~!
Since I'm feeling one on the other thigh...same place pretty much...is it possible this is an enlarged lymph node or somehow related to my walking so much? Like I said before, the one on the left thigh is not as big and I have to feel for it. Just wondering? Thanks for your answers thus far!
OK you know i just dont know , and i wont try to tell you some thing that's not right , but you really need to go and see about this any way , but i dont think this is caused by walking and probably not cancer!
I have had one there, only it is on my right side. I have had a small patch of my lower thigh that has been numb, but I thought it was from having 2 c-sections. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2-o8, and shortly after that it started to grow, and now it is the size of a silver dollar, and is causing pain, and hypersensitivity on almost half of the thigh. I went to the doctor today, and it has to be removed. I have to go see a surgeon, but my doctor said there is no use in scanning it because all it will show them is that it is a lump, they have to take it out to see what it is. I can feel this thing has grown deeper into my thigh. It is getting really to be a something that I am worried about. I just thought I would share this infor with you.
