You should talk to your doctor. I had same problem. My breast would start hurting about 1 to 2 weeks before my period. Turned out, I had an elevated level of hormone called prolactin. Prolactin is the hormone that makes women produce milk when they are pregnant or nursing. My doctor put me on medication called dostinex to regulate the hormone and I'm fine now.

I'm not sure, do you have a lump? If so tell your doctor immediatly and listen to kabeto, it might be the same problem she had.

Heres some common causes for this and the Common causes of breast soreness include:

hormonal changes associated with the menstrual cycle
retaining water, which often happens during the menstrual cycle
an injury or damage to the breast
pregnancy or breastfeeding
an infection in the breast
breast cancer, although this is a rare cause of breast pain. hope this helps, and if it gets wrose go to your local doctor11
