Colonoscopy

My mother is due for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. However, she takes both an iron and fiber supplement and DID NOT stop taking them 5 days prior. Should she go ahead and start the prep or call and reschedule her procedure for an other day

Colonoscopy? she need not start the prep if she was supposed to stop all meds for 5 days before this because this will mess up any readings that the doctor may make for this and i would also call the hospital to make sure right now this evening to make sure they have this information . it may be the doctor will allow her to go ahead but the hospital where she is having this done can make for sure and advise you on the Colonoscopy test.
