Throbbing pain in the thigh area with severe pain ?

I have a throbbing pain in the thigh and severe pain also at the top of the thigh and it hurts so bad i can not walk very good and i need to know whats causing this to happen ?

You possibly have a pinched nerve somewhere I had the same condition the doc. told me it was my sciatic nerve and it runs down to the middle of your thigh, you mostlikely have back problems that is pinching on that nerve. All you can do is take aspirin and get plenty of bed rest for a couple of days and if it gets worse ,like mine did they can prescribe mucsle relaxers for you.
