Upper abdomen pain

This pain is severe at times and radiates to my back it is only on the right side I do not have a gallbladder

Any sort of abdomen pain can be serious, however there are lots of causes of abdomen pain that are less serious such as gas, stomach ache, etc. If the pain comes with another symptom such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea.. then I would seek medical attention as soon as possible. However, if there are no other symptoms, I would schedule a regular doctors appointment.

I wish i could answer this .. but i too have this pain in m y upper right side under my rib cage and it radiates to my back as well. I had my gall bladder out 3 weeks ago.....This gets very severe at times, taking my breath away, i want to know what this could be. I had an endoscopy done today, i am worried.
