Vaginal Irritation

I have Type 2 Diabetes that is under control. I've been having problems with vaginal irritation/yeast infections since Feb. I'm allergic to latex, so I've ruled that out. I might be allergic to ingredients in personal lubes-glycerin, parabans, spermacides, etc. I have a slight burning at the top/front of my vaginal opening at the beginning of intercourse. I've been told that this is normal with age. I'm 45. I've notice that after intercourse that I become irritated, red around my vaginal and anal areas. I've been on Fluconazole 200 mg. and it hasn't done the job. This keeps coming back. I've had lab work done that shows candida, but not in large amounts. I keep hitting a wall and do not have health insurance and it's costing me a lot to try to figure this out.

Any ideas, suggestions to go from here?

This will help you and the cause of the dryness and the itching ! and you need to eat yogurt also plenty of it and this can be helped with a diet of more of the better things like this . Eat plenty of fresh green vegetables, whole grains and eggs, which are good food sources of B vitamins. Fresh, raw garlic is a good natural infection fighter. Because low estrogen levels cause vaginal drying, eat more foods derived from soy products such as tofu, tempeh, soy milk and soya nuts, to increase the estrogen level in the system. and eat yogurt again i say this! also eat greens plenty of them.

The first thing would be to work on your yeast infection, lower your sugar intake, go for green foods, meats, garlics and onions.. also you could be suffering from vaginal atrophy, this condition causes itching pain, burning, is often misdiagnosed as yeast.. i had the same problem, until i realized i had switched to a very low dose birth control pill that was too low on estrogen and too high on progestin, by month three i was plaged by infections, and i was desperate ... switched back to my old birth control and after the beginning of my third package my body finally started to heal again..im no longer itching and happy again. so go check your estrogen levels.. it takes time but you will heal I promess.
