What could cause a 1 year old to refuse her bottle with milk in it?

Per MD, no ear infection. Temp is hovering around 99 but previously spiked at 102.3. No symptoms of cold- running nose or cough. Was dehydrated but is drinking juice, electrolyte replacement drinks, water.
