They make a child's pepto (be sure not to give her adult pepto).

After vomiting, the best diet is a clear liquid diet of things like jello, broth, ginger ale and juice. For kids dehydration is a big concern so pedialite is great too.

If your daughter is vomiting this profusely, she runs the risk of dehydration among other things. If she can hold down liquids (even a small sip at a time) Give her Pedialyte, (available at your grocery store) do not use gatorade or other sports drinks because they contain large amounts of sugar. If she cannot hold down liquids, or she vomits more than 10 times in 24 hours, she needs to be seen by her doctor or the emergency room.

Once she can hold down liquids, and has not vomited for 2 hours, you can begin a "BRAT" diet, Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast (no butter)

There is also an anti-nausea medicine. It works very well for my kids. It is an over the counter medicine and the pharmacist can point you to it. I think the brand name is Emitrol, but I always buy the generic. It won't cure the sickness, but it sure buys some time to get liquids in them and get them a nap.

Emitrol is not approved for use in children under 3. This med is a Fructose, dextrose, and phosphoric acid (FRUK-tose, DEX-trose, and fos-FOR-ik AS-id) combination, this combination has not been proven to be effective.

The question was regarding a six year old child not a child under the age of three. I would not give any medical advice for any child under the age of three without a doctors concent.
