What to do about my toe?

I did something to my toe about 2wks ago. It is swollen and tender, it is the toe next to my big toe. I don't remember what I did to do or what to do about it now. Please help. It is not broken because I can still bend it alittle.

OK just keep it clean with white socks and if its infected then you need some help with this from a doctor and he might give you some pain meds and antiboditics to heal the infection!

I don't have a cut/ it is not bleeding so I don't understand why I would need to watch for infections when there isn't a open wound. RIght?

OK you can have in ternal infections in the toe and its red and swelling thats a sign of infection some where maybe some thing in it . and it may be the simple fact that you hit it and then it may be that theres some thing in there thats been broke . and it needs to be watched for ongoing infection. and if it gets red lines or any thing you need to have it checked thanks for asking!
