Why does my dog drag her but across my carpet as if itchy?

My grand dog is driving me crazy when she drags her butt across my carpet? why does she do this?

Most often it's either worms or a glandular problem that requires emptying (the dog groomers can do this). Try both worming & the groomer to cure rug surfing.

"His/her anal sacks (located around the anus) need to be expressed. You can take your dog to a groomer or to a vet and they will do this for you. The sacks get itchy and inflamed when they are full.

Dogs that have worms can also skid their little butts on the floor or carpet.."
