Why has my 9 yr old daughters hair stopped growing?

My daughter is healthy but for the last four years her hair has stayed at the same length. I'm wondering why it has stopped growing.

OK there are a lot of things that will let this happen and the many factors that can control hair growth and hair loss. and the thyroid gland is some thing to have checked out if you havent already had this tested. and on average hair grows at 1/2 an inch per month. having a good diet can help but there is no miracle cure for making hair grow.. but have this checked and see!
