Hi, The symptoms you describe could be a wide variety of things. One of the things that it may be is Endometriosis. This is somewhat common. It can cause the amount of pain you are having and passing clots as well. If you have not been to a Doctor for these symptoms I really think you should go. You should not have to take that much ibuprofen for the pain, and the pain should not last that long. It is probably an easy diagnosis, but one a Doctor will have to make. Take care.

Severe abdominal pain
For past several months i have had severe abdominal pain for a day or two a week after my period. This month it has been off & on for about 4 days. My periods are very heavy & i have lots of clots. I take probably 60 ibuprofen the week of my period to help with the pain.
