Beetles are eating my garden

How do I get rid of these things? They are eating the leaves and blossoms off of everything from my flower beds to my veggie garden.

Try "Borer, Bagworm, Tent Caterpillar & Leafminer Spray" manufactured by Ferti-Lome. This should help both ornamental and vegetable gardens, without damage to the plants. Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands after use, and any vegetables before you eat them. There are no specific worker protection requirements, even though applicators and handlers should wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes and socks. This is not considered toxic to humans per se, but it is from a naturally occurring soil dwelling bacterium called Saccharopolyspora spinosa (also just called Spinosad on some labels). Spinosad is relatively fast acting. The insect dies within 1 to 2 days after ingesting the active ingredient and there appears to be no recovery. It is used to control a variety of insect pests, including fruit flies, caterpillars, leafminers, thrips, sawflies, spider mites, and leaf beetle larvae (which includes all the subfamilies that destroy crops). Spinosad is recommended for use in an Integrated Pest Management program for commercial greenhouses since it will not harm most beneficial insects or predatory mites. Spinosad does not significantly affect beneficial organisms including ladybugs, green lacewings, minute pirate bugs, and predatory mites.
Hope this helps, Susu

There a lot of great ways to combat beetles plant flowers that attract birds a beetles natural predator or get frogs and or toads it is amazing how much one can eat. If you keep some sort of water source they may even stay around adding charm to any yard. Also sea salt and boric acid sometimes keeps them away. A spray made from hot peppers can help to . Cinnamon is also a natural deterrent against some pests. Hope it helps !
