Happy New Year 2008

It was good. I was the DD, but I managed to do a champagne toast using a glass of orange juice with a shot of champagne at midnight. Stayed until 3 pm at the party. Drove the group home safe and sound and went to bed. I didn't wake up until noon today. lol.

It was great thank you!! It was also my best friends birthday, so we started the night at her house with all the kiddos, did a mexican buffet, all homemade, had a few margaritas, and my 17 year old and her 17 year old volunteered to drive, so they dropped us off at another party about 10pm and picked us up at 2am which was good. We also have a safe ride program here so there was no excuses for drinking and driving last night, and our town had no DUI arrests last night YAY!! I slept till noon to LOL

My new years eve didnt go the way i planned, i was supposed to go out, the babysitter canceled at the last minute and me and my man spent the night arguing over stupid stuff

We stayed in and watched old movies together as we don't like to be out on the streets on New Year's Eve with all of the traffic and folks drinking. New Year's Eve is my birthday, so since we don't like to be out on the streets that night, we celebrated an early birthday dinner out on the 29th at Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens Casino to enjoy their unbeleivable prime rib (Better food than Lawry's I think!) It was fabulous and has become a tradition for my early birthday celebration. I look forward to it every year! I hope your celebration for the New Year was equally as wonderful!
