Holiday reimbursement question

I work a 10 hour work day but when there is a holiday I only get paid 8 hours for the holiday (not working the holiday) Is this correct? or should I get my regular 10 hour pay, this makes me short two hours whenever a holiday falls within my pay period and I either come up short or have to use two hours vacation time.
