In georgia do you have to work the day before and the day after to recieve a holiday pay for that day

I believe that holiday pay is up to company policy. Many companies do require you to work the day before and the day after a holiday to get pay, but others make you work the day of the holiday to get pay. There are even some companies that pay you either way! You should contact your HR department or you supervisor - they will know for sure.
