There are a lot of different causes for neuropathy, and unfortunately it can be difficult to treat. I can help you out with some links to good resources for information so you can inform yourself, or if you want to post some more details about your situation such as the likely cause of the symptoms (shingles, for instance) then one of the medical professional types here will be able to help more I'm sure.
Here's a good site with discussion about the various types of neuropathy, and if you are interested in support groups and bulletin boards they have that as well.

The treatments are many and varied, and a doctor will need to guide you on what is appropriate for the cause and severity of your pain. A variety of pain killers are options, Botox injections, even hot pepper oil (capsaicin) are some options to consider.
Please post a clarification if you feel your question was not answered sufficiently. I know there a lot of others on WebAnswers who would be happy to help you who may have more direct knowledge about this neuropathy condition.
Best wishes.
