How was your 2007 Christmas compared to your 2006 christmas?

This Christmas was fantastic! It was my daughters first christmas and she's fun and interactive. She was in love with the lights and personal attention as well as opening gifts (tearing the paper more like). It's very different than years past, but this was the most memorable for me and I tried to make it really special for her!

This christmas has been the best one yet...defaintly better than year.

i spent alot of quality time with family, found out my aunt is pregnant, and had an all-together GREAT time.

and for once i reminded myself to remember the real meaning of christmas...and i think that makes it all the better.

Honestly 2007 was awesome to me. I really needed this year. Late 2004 I was laid off due to the hurricanes and without enough experience under my belt, I freelanced, and worked at a subshop to make ends meet.

2006 was a bad year for me. I felt like I was failing at everything. Relationship, Career, and even failng at being myself. I didn't stop trying though. I knew I had to keep on going.

and Early 2007 I interviewed for a job I finally got, decent pay, that afforded us to move out to a pool home on the lake. A place for my dog could roam around.

2006 was almost rock bottom for me, 2007 finally brought me up and I hope 2008 is even brighter as I have more goals to accomplish and a positive attitude to accomplish them with,

2006, I delayed xmas until jan. 15, waiting on my son to get home from iraq, so it was wonderful.All of us together waited! ( actually it was the best xmas, no one then had anywhere to go & all could stay & enjoy the whole day)
2007, I had to squeeze xmas in 2 days early, to have xmas with a son, who joined the airforce in Oct, so we were all together again!

Since my mother passed away 3 years ago, this christmas was like any other, spent missing her and how much she would enjoy being around the grandkids
