What I'd like to do, is different then what I'll probably do for v-day.

I recently was thinking of valentines day myself. I did an internet search to find some cute ideas, and i found this website: http://holidays.lovingyou.com/valentine/
i searched around a bit on there and i saw something simple called "bed of goodies". it sounds like fun to me...maybe ill give this present this year. hehe.
well hope everyone has a good v-day.
I've always loved concert tickets or event tickets (not sporting events :) I have a fabulous spouse, so I never know what to expect, but it's always creative!

Reason: add
There are all sorts of good concerts around v-day.
Since I know you live in Denver Jodi, this year you could go check out Marilyn Manson on feb 13th @ The Fillmore. Should be an awesome time.
You could always go out for friends if you have an itch to go out that night but don't have a date.

I am the romantic one in my relationship, we are not celebrating valentines day until saturday ue to work schedules and kids, i rented us a nice jacuzzi suite, we will go out to dinner and possibly a movie, we will return to the hotel where there will be a bottle of chilled champagne waiting and the room will be covered in those scented rose petals, i will run us a bath in the jacuzzi filled with bubble bath after which we will dance to a cd i already have prepared with some of our songs and we will prolly pass out from exhaustion...no just kidding...we all know how we would like the evening to end. i wont even discuss his idea of a romantic evening...it surely doesnt involve champagne and rosepetals

Wine and a bubble bath! lovely! Thanks.
Valentine's Day at our house is always special. It is to crowded to go dine out that evening and we do go out often, so it is special to stay home. Of coarse, the meal would consist of heart shaped meatloaf and then a red heart drizzled in tomato sause on the top, mashed potatoes, rolls of some sort and heart shaped jello... this has been a yearly tradition in our house. My husband and kids always look forward to it.
